Our Mission

The Industrial Training & Testing Institute was founded in 1992 by Chester Turner, President and CEO, to give Philadelphia-area welders serious, hands-on industrial training. Today ITTI is Philadelphia’s oldest and largest minority-owned and operated welding school.

We teach beginners and experienced professionals side by side, and we hold every student to the same standard: work that passes inspection. Students are trained by a Master Welder with more than 40 years of experience in the industry.

Our goal is to close the gap between raw potential and certified skill. Graduates leave ready to work in demanding industrial settings.

Our training is not expensive — it’s priceless.
