Industrial Training and Testing Institute is Philadelphia's largest facility for welder training and certification. We offer beginner courses for students with no previous background in welding, to testing for professionals looking to obtain their MIG, TIG, and Stick certifications. With more than 35 years of experience in the industry, we are fully equipped to meet your every need.
Funding For Prospective Students
Potential candidates seeking funding must meet the following criteria to be considered: Over 18, a clean criminal record for at least 7 years, drug-free, and must own a car. If qualified, students will then be cleared to apply for a government grant which covers the entire cost of the class. Training
Our classes are a 3 month/12 week program where students will learn the processes of MIG, TIG, and Stick welding, as well as Oxyacetylene cutting, welding theory, and blueprint reading. Every student also receives free job placement upon successful completion of our course. Classes are held Monday through Friday, and students have the choice of either a 8AM-1PM, or 1PM-6PM classes. Welding helmets, jackets, gloves, literature and all equipment is covered in the tuition.
Advanced Training and Certification
If you are looking to obtain certifications for MIG, TIG, Stick or Pipe welding, we are fully equipped to provide all aspects of the process. Certification and training is provided in both a flat hourly fee, as well as a flat fee for the certification.
